How to Apply Acrylic Nails on Yourself
Nail Art Designs . a student had inquired about how do you do your own nails there are a few tips as a nail technician we always give our hand left hand forward if you're right-handed we always present this one take a look at that looks best so I'm going to give you a few tips on how to do the hand that you are predominant in when you're filing with the opposite hand that.
You're not very good at use this hand mostly to do the motion so rather than using your drill which were not is so good at try to use the opposite hand and this is bracing by holding this part we literally move the finger don't move the drill move the finger especially when you're talking car by bit don't want to cut yourself and and and and mixing acrylic you look at monitor with your with your ball is a smaller ball you want to get too big of a bowl because it might be just too much to handle especially when you're doing your opposite end clean it off right away that's part of your learning and then start molding it right away as soon as you can't flatten it as soon as you can to the cuticle but when you flatten the cuticle make it as thin as you possibly can that's the trick of a good film right nice and thin near the cuticle and I find the flattening motion as much as you can over and over and over is the best sometimes you get your brush wet get a little bit of liquid between.
The cuticle and your acrylic and see if you can fly and get the body of the brush barrel of the brush some say belly of the brush and just kind of push it over and flat so i can do this beat a little bit dryer because I'm molding and I'm trying to make it wider you get a pretty good angle here and i'm going to you can see I'm going to flatten that ball and pushing it right to the side and i'm going to make it nice and square these nails are going to be squared so to roll it over the top a little you don't have to do this in one ball if you can then you're good at doing your own nails but of course doing your own nails as hard that's why I'm trying to give you a few extra tips and doing your nails is an advantage because when people see them and hold gorgeous they are you can promote yourself the full advantage of doing ok I think he's happy enough you know it's a little bit wonky can see that this side is more square this one is missing so I'm going to do the same effect a dryer ball bead this bead sounds better I'm gonna do a dryer be taking away the moisture on your paper towel and then just molded it into making it a bit square you can do this with a form but this one doesn't really have to have a form but if you want to have a form yes go ahead it will see underneath you will have to use it underneath bit and it comes to the island part sometimes natural nails that are you know already long they've already taking shape and then really sometimes really talk to form ok so now we're good.

we'll just smooth that off and now we'll start following don't use your drill - hi you want to go on a low setting most people think if you use a drill really hot you cannot file through a lot of stuff but you're just going to burn so just nice and low and then what we want to do is brace your hand embrace your filing hand and again you can use more of the momentum of your hand as opposed to the drill soon as I just set the drill into one position and just move my finger and then as time goes on you will get better at moving the drill as well especially around the cuticles and stuff you just keep doing it until you get the look that you're looking for when you're shortening again it's kinda hard sometimes it this way and then always keep checking because it's really easy to go cricket ok so just keep fine it may take you half an hour to be for the TV show on and just go for it just keep piling up it's hard to find an angle it works sometimes I will even put a bottle of polish on so I can brace myself rather than holding in there that helps to have to get better that really helps with the pinky he just does not have enough strength to hold itself up for you ok so i've done all the major filing there are all shaped and thin the way I want them to be and they matched his hand pretty much and now i'm just finally nice and smooth i'm not going to joke with them i'm just going to publish them so I just nail polish that is so I just want to go to the market so it's not just finishing now and then I'll put some oil on them and again when you're filing it's easier to move your prominent and then it is the file this I find this really opportunity but you can do it but we're just not as good at it this arm has all the strength right this is what you're used to so just do move this hand I find is the easiest way to do it so now we're going to polish it totally dried make sure that mr. super super dry and waiting to the cuticles so as if I can't with all the colors and purples I can't find a new that I like so i tend to always blame to the news are two nude and the soft drinks or too soft so I find I like to put a coat of the new Don and then a code other two of the pink on to sort of give the color than I'm looking for I know that's kind of silly but that's just what I like don't put it up here it's too much put it here and then you can go back the least amount of strokes as possible and more it just makes it streak I'm just putting the top coat of pink on which is what I like just to give it a nice paint color while topcoats the easiest can't go wrong with top coat if you do have any streets code actually can smooth out the colors a little it isn't a bit of an advantage there you go then
Polish Abstract and Swarovski Gem - Nail Art Tutorial
Nail Art Designs . today is tape scissors and some polish let's get started so whether you're a tech or a client you've got your nail polish - let's say they're all dried ready to go so I'm going to work on this finger is just going to be an accent finger and when I say take this is what I mean so I was trying to leave this edge lifting up like this because they're so hard to find okay so get this it's a little difficult cuz im using on one hand here your nail technician you've got to use on the one hand.
I want to get a little bit extra i'm using this red tape because i had a fair amount of it I'm not gonna be leaving the tape there so I can be taking another stripe sometimes you can stick this end first this is just if you're doing with one hand and then move this to where you wanted to go now I'm getting more careful with my place but I want to get these are like almost like they're a little bit closer together back of that just make sure you're pressing in is it tape it has a sticky side and stick down this end first ok then i'm going to pick me call us I've got this blue i'm going to take you to put a little bit of blue on here and you'll see because i'm going to use it to get into the tiny little crevice with my dotting tool ok let's say I'm going to color this stripe in here we have you really good you can take the paint brush from the young polish and try to plant in there this line is a little smaller than the polish so I cannot get the brush in there that good.
So I'm gonna take I like this dark color i found it on the little shelf behind me really like it a nice contrast from what I'm ready to put me here so you don't you just basically coming in between and then I noticed this color - I'm just gonna throw this little color in there get very bright I think I'll put it in this little tiny space right here tiny I don't think i'm gonna leave a white space they're going to put another color here was this isn't too close to the other people sign looks quite different yeah yeah and I got one more spot how did nothing maybe.
I'll put another dark on this little swatch over the side here that I could almost painting me the pros are you really really effective because you can also use a tiny little pink dress meet so you don't want to let it dry too much the Polish will stick to the tape if it's too dry and it will actually rip your polish right off you know what going to cut this so i can get it off so I thought for fun you would have it come to a specific quite i'm just going to put a little bit of hard generate there and I'm going to get a nice big blue diamonds right there I think I can resist not putting any more that's kind of cute then I get a new coat and a cure him so the jelly put on was just to cure the bling in there and that's used with the light to cure it then you just top coat it and off you go you're done kinda looks like racing stripes no yes or maybe something for a superhero ok what very funny yeah your costume that it will get will get a costume from the next
Coffin - Ballerina Shaped Nails
Nail Art Designs . today we're going to do a ballerina our coffin nail had a lot of requests on this one is super popular right now so i actually had a girlfriend linea . ballerina slippers and when you look at the balance over this is how they designed it this is why we call it the ballerina I don't have a coffin kicking around so i'm just using the slipper so when you look at your hand like these your almond of course but this if this was asked where they go straight up on the sides and then as the shape of the coffin is it tapers in just a little bit on both sides and then it's blunt on the top so that's what we're going to do a ballerina nail so it's straight square just take the sides and a little bit and a black top ok let's get started yeah there are several ways to get the coffin shape and that is when you're applying the product you can actually shape it into the coffin shape but that would be harder to show you the coffin shape so i applied these nails square so i can show you how to shape it into a coffin shape.
Now I've already done that on this hand this is what we're looking at this is where we're going we're going to make a coffin shape that came from this so we are going in this direction and we're starting here so you can keep that handle or don't need it for a couple minutes so I'm going to start filing these now and shaping them into coffin ok so i am going to use a carbide bit this is just for the acrylic and I wouldn't go too close to the cuticle if you're not really skilled with the drill I wouldn't go close to the cuticle at all stay on the free edge it's for thickness and for shaping try to drill up like people so I don't know why they go up that high I've never seen anybody using that I but just because it's going fast doesn't mean it is going to take off a lot of product fast it's the bit of what you use that takes off product not the speed so I usually don't know what do you have with this is this one has a digital readout is awesome why you should use this man about a 45 and I always wear a mask too because i don't want to read this stuff in my lungs.
And I have to work with this scary now okay so start filing and smoothing and finding your shape within that mail I find a really good way to do it is you literally just taking off the corner just make sure the tip here is not digging into their this is really to hit in the middle of this drill bit we're going to take that corner down so just hit the corner and you're just too can off the corner that's all it is and then the other side hit that corner yeah I try what I'm doing the filming and trying to show you procedures I try to hold it like this for some procedures you can see it but when i'm working on a daily basis doing my clients all day I hold over top of the hand and I get a really good grip and I can turn the clients hand and she's fighting me at all she's texting they often text with the hand that there i'm working on this in their mind kind of the connected they will kind of tense a little bit this gives me such a good grip I can just a battle of wills let me tell.
You i can move that finger confidently when I got a drill bit like this in my hand so this doesn't give me a strong grip it also doesn't give me the movement that I need to go back and forth when i'm working on somebody so I really grab over top and then I've got a good hold on her she's not going nowhere so by removing the corner we're sort of getting an establishment of where your blunt end is going to be then i will take my hand file and I will literally emphasize that again and I'll take this corner and you wanted to file up in here because you don't want to come straight out and then blunt you want to start angling from where the free edge beginnings on the person's natural male so make sure the tip of your file here where your file is joining in here I'm just slanting it to work and taking off that corner I'll just same for the other side there now I found my confidence today so now it's now a call around so I look straight down I can see it's kind of thick on the sides so by taking the drill I can slim keeping the arch now don't take that away but I can just slim the sides out now to work the cuticle to make the cuticle nice and smooth it has a nice smooth grow out when they start to grow out I'm just going to take my our band and gently just go around the cuticle
French Almond Glitter - Traditional French Acrylic Nail Technique - Step By Step Tutorial
Nail Art Designs . i just did a video about doing a reverse French so I thought I should do a video about traditional French where you lay the French line down first let's get started get my special so I prep this nail and it's pretty much ready to go I do have a video that you can check out on how to put the nail ok so i put the prep step on it which is the due to hydrator to get it ready and clean it up and this is a primer and I have to put that on yet I'm just going to paint and primer on gently when you put primer on you don't have to hit the acrylic it's more for the natural nail if you get the acrylic in there it's not a big deal you just want to hit the natural moon I love this color this is a rose gold and i'm going to use it it's by magnetic see the sparkling and that's going to be my French okay so because this is a traditional i'm going to put my French down first so this is my pink that videos on the bed that's the sparks and i'm going to cap it with a clear you have to do that because when you work with sparkles most sparkles you can't file on it you have to clear cap in order to file okay it also is what gives you your strength and structure so some of you been asking me about forms i guess a lot of places use tips and I don't prefer a tip i guess maybe it's just the way.
I was taught maybe that's why its traditional I always have used to form I like a form because a form is a piece of paper as you can see that shape to fit under the nail and I like the form because you can shape it to whatever you want and I know what tips you can too but they're much more rigid much more step and have to find one that fits the shape this just I can custom make it to any shape and it fits right away so the advantage of this is it sits under the natural nail which is what you want to do tips it on the natural nail and then you build up from there to me i know it's only a little tiny bit but it does get a little bit higher I prefer the paper the form because it does everything sits below it I should do a video on how to place the forms and stuff and I can go into more detail but when you're placing it on you definitely want it to go under natural ok so just to mention some of you asked about this - I like to use that number eight oval and it's a table or a weasel tip whatever the company that you're buying from uses I like these brushes.
because I can really get a crisp French line with it it's got a nice . on it there's lots of different shapes you can use and I'll should do a video on that too so place your bead right there and now I'm shaping the French line and this is the way I've been taught to do it and I've been doing this for my whole career at this way you just as best you can shape the French shape that nice smile line now i will say working with a sparkle I love this color and I really want to Sparkle and one day I will do the white but when you work with a sparkle it does give you a little bit more play time I don't know why chemically white dries up much quicker but when you put sparkle even sparkle white when you put some Sparkle into it it seems to cure a little bit slower I'm sure there's a chemical reason behind that I find when I do the reverse French I got quite a deep smile line now when i do the French this one I'm calling the traditional way you can do that too but i find just over the years I've just never develop that super strong smile line with this particular method so I'm going to go a little bit longer but you can see my smile lines getting in there is so much more time I have to play with that just to see if i can get an accurate really it takes a lot longer to clear out that's pretty good so I'm going to add another bead on the end I'm just going to get a little bit more length out of it and I'm going to keep it quite thin because i want to add the clear cap on top for the strength just be careful you see the tip of mine is hitting the nail plate be careful make sure your tip is clear product because that tip will get some sparkles on there and sometimes they're hard to get off if you do get them on there sometimes you can just take a little liquid and scoop it off scrape it off with a cuticle stick if it's really stubborn just file it off ok so if you can see it sideways up that a nice smooth arch there but you can see it's quite thin i'm going to turn it so you can see down the barrel you can see how thin that is that's important you don't want it to be thick ok.

So now i want to do the bed the pink on the bed and of course you've got all this sparkle on your paper towel that you're using flip it over so we don't get any Sparkle on the bed part so I'm just going to gather my pink feed so when i do this speed I don't actually want to bring it over top of the sparkle which you can bring it right up to it the reason why you don't want to bring it over top is because unless it's clear it will cloud your sparkle color we don't want to do that we don't want to make our sparkle any dollar going to get as much of it as possible so fresh back like this just make sure you do not go over top of your sparkle and making sure your cuticle is nice and smooth ok so you can see the colors laid in the French and now i just need to clear cap and the clear capping doesn't have to go over the cuticle if you've done the pink and the cuticle exactly what you want you don't want to make it thicker but we do want to make sure it's structurally sound so in the center we're gonna clear cap this is a bead of clear acrylic and i'm just going to place it right in the center at the stress . and I'm going to make sure i flatten it out to the sides completely and it's going to come right over top of my Sparkle this will be what I'll be filing I always say it's like it's like encasing a picture in a frame under glass the sparkle is the picture the clear capping of course is the class you're just protecting is when you doing ok you just smooth it out obviously you'll be filing it can smooth it over the file there we go sparkles coming back and if you look down the barrel you'll see still not to think it's nice and Captain encased so when you're working with a sparkling as opposed to a white a white is quite solid and right right to the tiniest little bead but Sparkle of course it's got chunks of sparkle in it so it's broken up a little but a good thing about a smile line is what you're looking for is the points on either end when the smile comes in it goes to a smile part but it comes up to fine points on either side easier to do with a white or a black or something without a sparkle in it but when you have something with a sparkle in it as it goes up the side of breaks up a little bit so sometimes to make that fine . of the side you just need to add a tiniest little bit of sparkle to make that fine . it could be just one Sparkle hard to do what are you talking this tiny little area so right now just taking a little bead sparkle and instead of just jam it in the side there and I'm just trying to make it into a fine . with a bunch of chunky little sparkles i'm going to try to scoop it up into a smile line and just that tiny little sparkle add in there gives it a nice clean smooth . is also the little details right just bring it right up into a sharp little corner so as i go i do make sure the dry and then I take these off you can reuse these but I don't they're not really that great for using just make sure it's dry and then just get rid of them who it's pretty look underneath you can really see how pretty the color is of course when you clear capping it the clear cap as it's going on and when it's drying it's quite cloudy it looks ugly sometimes it makes you question the color choice once you file it and then gel coat of polish whatever you're going to do it's beautiful it just shines right up again I can see underneath it gives you a sneak peek of the color which is a good argument for short nails right off when you're doing a set like that couple more fingers we're almost there so have you been asked about my liquid dispenser this thing is awesome the reason why I like it so much is because you put your liquid of course to fill in the bottom and then you can dispense or pump out by hitting the center it pumps the liquid out you just use what lens in the well product has a pretty high evaporation rate so having this little thing in here just use whatever is in there and it never contaminates what's going on inside the bottle which is really cuts down on waste to as long as you use what's inside the world some people use a little definition of course once you're finished with it
Steam Punk Nail Art - Stamping and Calligraphy Pen
Nail Art Designs . I want to do a design that you can do real quick at the end of an appointment for a client or for yourself i'm going to use some stamping you some tricks let's get started so I grabbed a couple of stamps I've collected from my stamp collection and it's important very specifically what stamp i'm grabbing because I wanted to so that i can color in some of the sections so it's not just a stamp but just sort of coloring in a little bit to give it a different kind of look I'm not going to use these ones although the really cool i kinda like those but i am going to use this one here and i picked this sort of abstract kind of mentally , steampunk gonna if you will so that's what I'm gonna use today so polished my nails.
I just used a gel coat and just make sure that a cure it and make sure that it's some completely dry ok so I'm going to grab some paint no Pete that's used for these stamp pads has to be a little bit thicker you can't use just regular old paint it's got to be this particular concoction I don't know what they've done to make it better but just a little bit thicker so that when you apply it on it's almost like goes on like a vinyl that you can actually almost peel it off but it has to be thicker nail polish just off the shelf is just a little too thin I would suspect if you have nail polish oh that was old and too thickening a little bit and aging that might work so I've got to this nail polish on it you can't use paint with this is just nail polish so this is the designing going to pick right in here so I've got my well-used scraping stripper and I got my little daughters just make sure that it's nice and clean you can see that I've used this many times before make sure they're clean ok and always have one ready because it's a bit BTW if you let the paint it on there for too long by the time you pick it up it doesn't want to transfer it's very frustrating it can be very annoying this stamping situation but once you get it it's really cool I'm going to paint it on you don't have to do it thick you just have to cover your design my nails are long so I'm going to do the whole section and it is messy like make sure you get a paper towel down ok scrape it off and then you get your you call this thing you can see the design right there take your finger get it ready and you want to buy it up and try to get as much surface covered as possible.
I find it's better to do the cuticle area first because you can always redo the tip see that and lazy and pretty good and then I've got some left over here so sometimes I find it kind of matches up I will just throw it in there sometimes I get lucky sometimes I don't you can scrape with little any little extras so I'm going to clean this and then i have to clean my stamping pad again and I'm going to do it again maybe just the tip part because i'm just going to cover the tip of my finger this time scrape it pick it up look at that picked up really nicely and i'm going to lay it in there that that worked ok you can actually see some of it sticking up and let me just put a little a little lines in there to cover that if it works yep how many of you are so helpful and telling me I was just taking Vaseline and oil and putting it around the cuticles and then many of you told me that you can use these certain products I've ordered some but they're not here yet so some still using my little oil until I get it and you just painted around like a latex and then you can peel it right off and it saves you having to clean up all these edges or putting vaseline or oil down first so i can't wait to get that you'll be seeing that in my new videos whenever I do a messy thing just like this and i'm just going to do next clean the pad.
I'm just gonna go for it and start doing all my fingers that's a nice one so the beauty of this if you put gel polish on first if you make an error you can just wipe it off if it's polished you wipe off the Polish to you if you make an error and you want to take it off so that is an advantage of using the chill yep cuticle see if I can patch work this in here maybe try to get that guy in there nope that wasn't going to answer so I'm going to do is I just going to erase the tip and redo the tip and I do you use just acetone or you can use nail polish remover to remove it someone had mentioned that maybe it going to break down the transfer daughter thing like this thing I've had them for years and I've never seen that happen yet but suppose that could be oh that transferred beautifully oh that looks good I know it's a mess but just bear with me it's coming okay i still have the tip to do on that ring finger and thumb this is just for the tip yeah ok that's beautiful fit right in here ooh that were really good.

Now I'm getting it you clean up all around the cuticles no wonder I dry out my polish all the time I get close the lid it's okay let me just get rid of this for a sec about this really pretty gold and you can use it with a calligraphy pen or a dotting - I do find the clip and is better and i'm going to do just to get this - steampunk look is just sort of color in the holes just give it a little pizzazz but the Hat it just brightens it warmed up and then I'm going to take some of the don't even know what this design is but also took an old clock or something and that's why it's a little steam punk - looking so I'm going to take some of these fan parts and don't go over the black parts you're just kind of coloring in just in between how to get an intricate look so easy without really having that really good part it's a cheat I think that's my first nail hawk and wonder what those were that's I think one okay I'm just gonna sort of go round and cumin some of these spots with the gold and I do have another color i was doing white but it was a little start members like coloring is day in the lines don't go outside the lunch now if you decided to pick the flower stamp with this you could color in web pedals and do the leaves and green you could really just change your whole design and doesn't cool just on its own I do like that kind of lacy kind of look just on its own without the terrible cuticles being so black but i'll get rid of that before the reveals it does look really cool just on its own but when you do this you just sort of snazz and it up a little really change the design which ever colors you added so intricate and detailed after good eyes and a steady hand - k i'm just going to go to town on this the trick is those is staying within the lines and not getting rid of the black so it makes a little bit and half around with me or anything so it makes it a little bit just to give it an off-white this is kind of a yellow white the only reason why I told the white down so it didn't look start white well I've colored it all in I've tried to stay within the lines and i did use my calligraphy pen but you can use a dotting tool or even a toothpick with this so I'm going to top coat and shine it up but I made a nice hand of the expensive but making a mess of the other hand if you're doing it yourself i suggest maybe wearing a glove and then switching when this was driving to do your other hand or get your nail tech to do it so you don't have to make the two minutes I'm going to top coat it and we're going to get a look at those reveal pictures

I guess one way to shorten it would be to just sort of get the size down the shortened but i find the best way to shorten it is to establish the length first so literally file off the tip part of what you want by establishing the length first then you can take her in your sides so let's say this one they wanted to come down as much as it's grown and usually people coming in between three to five weeks growth funny enough to see our how fast it grows so she wants to shorten it approximately let's say before with average growth and if you're the client that's what you want you want to short it that much.
So i'm going to take this down as much as it's grown like day now if your hand filing it would just look like this when you take that down that's taking it down considerably it's not quite as often anymore so i find the best with a coffin we still looks nice is still a tapered look but it's not quite a strong coffin some people like their coffin to be quite tapered so they want that you want this area to be a bit smaller right now it's a bit wider the idea is to make this edge here the shape and the link that you want to be and then you can taper into that free edge that makes any sense so there's two ways to do that you can do it with a drill but establish your length first I find that much easier then you can work in toward that so by taking your drill you can take off the point and establish how small that's going to be taking off this side don't go down straight on the side just take off that . established the width of what you want that edge to be so once you've established that then you got to take the sides and then with a coffin and quite interesting you don't want to take file the side straight you don't want to file it straight like this.

And if you bend in the file you don't want to take the sides of it here and keep filing you want to do an extreme so take your coffin from this side into this . draw a line like this draw that line in your mind on both sides don't soften this edge here make it a harsh line so this is kinda awkward what I'm trying to show you because usually i'm feeling like this on my own for accuracy t there's always that under side that you want to file to make sure you get the underside as it drips under it really ruins a coffin the thing is whenever you're reshaping if you built the nail structure properly it starts thinner here gradually builds up in the center and then it comes down when you shorten it it will get thicker and thicker and thicker as you shortened so you have to take the whole thing down as well so not only did I file in shape the shape of the coffin and i also have to file the thickness down because then it just becomes a thicker now right nobody wants that so what i will do you can look down the barrel you see that thickness in here I need to take that down don't want that to be sick like that it's the right shape what you wanted to come down in order to get that you can do it with the drill take the drill and file it down this time don't want that dick nobody wants a sick now or you get the same effect with a hand file you just have to angle it you want to angle your filed on this side so we're not going like this tilting the file this way and going like that that's what's going to thin it you don't want to thin across your stress . it was just sending the free edge the angle of the file makes all the difference when your shape ok you want to check out this base beauty ok that's a shortened to coffin now we're going to move on to the almond often my clients are switching over to the almond which is awesome and beautiful shape and when they come in again they are much longer of course and they wanted shortened well before I used to kinda was doing the sides and definitely if you go one too far on one side and the other it really gets wonky so again I find the same rule is true filed and lengths to where you want it to end first-to-file up to that so just take off the tip once you establish that long you want it to be yeah then you can file the sides to taper into that so in this case I'm going to just put this little dark on here to show you talking about ok I'm just going to show you this is just the start of design see that . that's what I want to file - okay so right from this side here right from the side of the cuticle to the . i'm going to around so it's not an angle straight that would be more pointing it this I want to keep the almond shape so I'm just going to ground it and you can see if you look at that see high perfectly rounded the one side and the one side still square so now i'm going to round out the other side to match it you can do this was a drill to.
but I do find it more accurate with the hand and then you just decide how . you're going to go so if you look down the barrel of that you can see how much thinner that down to that like dolphin knows ok now a lot of clients a square square is one that you really gotta work ahead and believe it or not it sound so simple some people like a real super strong square and to get that there's a specific trick to that so when you're doing a super square nail the trick is to make the file completely flat against the tip of the nail so like this completely square if you bend it in it's going to be a dented in if you're going to go down like this it's gonna soften the corners too much so it must be completely parallel to get the very very square nail some of my clients really liked even have the corners they'll say sharp square now that i will round out in their daily routine and they come back and sometimes the corners are quite a bit softer but you do want to make sure that you're filing completely squared to it making sure you're completely flat do not bend it this way don't bend it this way and don't blow it this way when you go back and forth it must remain completely flat completely square and that way you will get completely square now the coast square that is that square man oh I do have to say one thing when you are doing a nail and you're trying to do a completely square i'm only have one hand here so what I usually do is brace it with this thumb embrace it and then i will go like that to make it completely square but when you are working with a client you need to hold it this way as your filing this edge like holding it with one hand and filing it this way because if the finger rocks at all you can turn those corners in too much softer which is why this one works so sometimes a client likes them so that the corners are around they call thats crowned with a flat surface with the round corners that's quite easy to get actually so i'm going to do that with the pinky and it's square now and we're going to make the corners quites crowned so how you do that the best ways here's how you make it square but if you angle the file so that the corners are the only ones hitting the file again you'll need to hold this steady
